A herniated disc usually is caused by wear and tear of the disc (also called disc degeneration). As we age, our discs lose some of the fluid that helps them stay flexible. A herniated disc also may result from injuries to the spine, which may cause tiny tears or cracks in the outer layer.

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical traction based treatment outcome for herniated or bulging discs in the neck and lower back, here at SPINOUS we use the state-of-the-art non-surgical spinal decompression system; the KDT 650. Anyone who has back, neck, arm or leg pain may be helped by spinal decompression therapy.
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) are sounds wave that have a specific physical characteristic. the machine produces negative and positive stages of sound-wave; generating a second wave which is more powerful than ultrasound therapy (approximately 1000 times greater than peak pressure of an ultrasound wave), which increases vascularization and breakage of scar tissue.
