LASER THERAPY (LLLT)
Laser Therapy or LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) is the application of red and near infra-red light over injuries or lesions to improve wound and soft tissue healing, reduce inflammation and give relief for both acute and chronic pain.
Laser Therapy increases the speed of recovery and strength of tissue and collagen repair, decreases inflammation and relieves pain. The infra-red light has no heating effect.; Laser Therapy effect is Photochemical which allow production of ATP and reduces the overall oxidative stress. hence, it reduces inflammation and promotes tissue heeling. currently, LLLT is used to treat soft tissue injuries, joint conditions, neuropathic pain, non-healing leg and pressure ulcers.
